First Poem Submission!

Hello to all on this beautiful, sunny snowy winter day!

As I mentioned in my "Hello and Welcome" post, I want to support other new writers, and help get their work out there. Once a month I will spotlight YOUR work. We have one brave new soul already willing to share. Thank you Dustin for your submission.

Addicted

I met her years ago, 

I always thought she was beautiful.

Several years have passed, I see her again, 

the image of her seemed to last.

Strong is our connection,  

I can’t get enough of that addiction.

If I didn’t know better, I’d say we’re in love.

She’s always on my mind, she’s my drug. 

It’s what keeps me from dying.

If I said I wasn’t addicted to her, I’d be lying.

She is my only true love, 

and sole reason I’m even trying.

I live for her, and she lives for me. 

I’m addicted. 

It’s where I need to be.

A Heartfelt Thank You!

I'm overwhelmed by the support I'm receiving from all of you.  My book "Lest We Forget Life's Passion" a collection of my poetry, launched last week. Thanks to all of you, it's off to an amazing start!

I've been asked many times about e-files for both Kindle and Nook.  Amazon, and Barnes & Nobles take 2-6 weeks for all of their links, and previews to become available. They are coming! Keep checking both links and they should be available soon.
