For the love of the readers,

who make all books possible.

Who swarmed all around me

to make my heart full.

Thankful for you,  

and your open minds.

Your kindness, support,

where love I did find. 

Friendships were formed,

by emotions in words.

Sentiments touched hearts,

while awareness transferred.

I cherished each one,

as I listened to your tales,

how my words on paper

made you weep or hail.

Connecting hearts moaned,

and sorrows were shared,

together we stand

while our souls we did bare.

Ache

Mask, let no one see the

turmoil within;

Between smiles, and pain,

tears flow secretly.

Hearts break, hearts mend,

but oh, how painful the journey,

around the bend. 

No one can help,

as no one can know.

Pressing through dark days,

with sun shining so brightly, 

yet sensations are more dark and stormy.

Breathe in, Breathe out,

breathe in, breathe out.

Ecstasy

His presence is her air,
as he gently strokes her hair.
Tucked within his arms,
She knows she’s safe from harm.
The passion created from him,
burrows deep within her skin.
The intensity of their love,
is what others wish and dream of.
How rare this union is,
as she thanks the Gods she’s his.

Book Signing and Reading

I now have my first book signing, and reading under my belt. Wow what a rush! My venue was absolutely beautiful at Rockwall Cellars. Thank you Doug and Sandy! I also wanted to thank my good friends Craig and Nita Weeks for taking on the role of photographer, and right hand woman. I couldn't have done it without you guys, thank you. 

The overwhelming support from my friends, family and the community was absolutely beautiful, and I want to thank all of you for being there, and joining in the celebration.  AND I HAD A LINE! :)

Triplicity

The laughter all around me,
bubbling forth from life,
Is healing to the soul,
and blows away the strife.
Smiling happy faces,
from those that I do love,
wrap around my body,
like a warm, well-fitted glove.
Innocence in their eyes,
the wonderment all around,
the giggling over nothing,
makes all our joy abound.
Children are our energy,
the chance to be renewed,
I cherish all the moments,

which bring this blessed mood.

Kindred Spirits - A Poem

Mending of the hearts,

blending of the minds.

Your words caress my soul,

and to me they do bind.

When doubt creeps into darkness,

blinding out the light.

You cover  me with kisses,

and make all matters right.

You read each silent word,

written upon my heart.

You know me inside out,

you have right from the start.

You handle me with care,

like a fragile crystal vase.

You stroke me with your eyes,

as I feel it on my face.

Never has there been,

a fusion such as ours.

Not in heaven, or on earth,

we are higher than the stars.

Very Cool Experience

I had a really cool thing happen to me yesterday as an author. A local businessman that I had talked to about my book a couple weeks ago, and who said "Poetry really isn't my thing" has been reading my book, and sharing it with others. His wife says "he's really enjoying it" and he says, "this is good". He said he would have never thought he could enjoy that type of reading, but he is. One poem in particular when finished reading it he thought "This is exactly how I feel!" . Best feeling ever. 

Book Signing

Rockwall Cellars at 110 Nichols Rd - Omak WA has invited me to do a book signing, at their beautiful winery.

It will take place on Saturday April 19 at 2:00 pm.  I would LOVE to see you there! Bring a friend!

To answer some of the questions I've been getting, yes I will have books available for purchase in both hardcover , ($20.) and paperback ($10)
All major credit cards will be accepted.
